Now... let's get started!

First Task (all students):

Have a look at the introductory part of this wikipedia article on monsters and at an article about different types of modern monsters. Also learn more about ghosts by having a look at the wikipedia article on ghosts. While you read, take notes on the most important things you find and also make use of an online dictionary (for example leo.dict.org) if you have problems with words. Don't panic if the texts are a bit difficult at first sight... you will see that you understand the important things easily! You can work in small groups if you like.

Second Task (all students individually):

Go to the Introduction Quiz and try to answer the questions with the help of the homepages you've visited before. You have to do this quiz individually. After you've done the quiz, please print out your result and hand it in.

Third Task (all students individually):

In different song lyrics and music videos you can find monsters, but this video/lyric is definitively the ONE you have to know... Have a look at the video on Youtube. While you watch this video (which - by the way - was released in 1983 and cost USD 500.00!!) you can try to fill in the Lyrics Quiz. After you've done the quiz, please print out the result and hand it in.

Fourth Task (all students in their group):

Every group has a look at the tasks they can do in order to find out more about 'their' monster. If you work on Ghosts, for example, you go to the Ghost-Folder under 'Aufgaben' and find your tasks there!
